Easy IP Address Checker Extension for Google Chrome
Recently I’ve been playing about with learning how to create Google Chrome Extensions, mainly from this Lifehacker guide, and this is my first extension.
What is it?
It’s a very Simple IP Address Checker Extension. Literally just click the button in the top right and it’ll display your current IP Address. No need to go to a specific website, just one click.
Why?
Because IP Address Checkers are the easiest things to create that are actually useful. In the future I’ll move onto more feature packed extensions, but this is my start.
How long did it take you to write?
Literally two minutes. It’s just a bit of JSON and PHP, nothing too difficult
What are you calling this Extension?
Where can I download it?
You can download it for free here. It doesn’t come with any warranty, so I’m not liable if it screws up your Computer, but it’s so basic that it really shouldn’t.
